TULSA, Ok., Jan. 14, 2021 – Melton Truck Lines, a 2021 Military Friendly® Employer, conducted a driver wide survey which found an increase in tarp pay would be the most meaningful pay increase. This new tarp pay will take effect on February 2nd, 2021, and will impact their existing and future drivers.
Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Melton Truck Lines, Inc. gave back to their community through donations to local organizations; the purchase of a K-9 dog for their local police department; and the sponsorship of wreaths for Wreaths Across America. Additionally, one of their drivers led the effort to deliver supplies and essential items from Washington state to the New Orleans area following Hurricane Laura.
Melton has received the coveted title of C.H. Robinson Carrier of the Year in the 1,000+ tractor size segment.

Melton Truck Lines employees were greeted by a stunning 35-foot Christmas tree when they reported to work the Monday before Thanksgiving week, the first holiday season in their new 77,000-square-foot building.
“I think I saw no less than five posts of pictures of the tree on Facebook that day,” said Shayla Williams, 29, safety and employee services staffer.

Flatbed carrier Melton Truck Lines has added 53-foot stepdeck trailers to its fleet to allow the company to meet a broader scope of customer needs, the company announced.
The company now has 200 all-aluminum stepdeck trailers that are lightweight and able to scale a 48,000-pound payload.
