"I heard about Melton from the enthusiastic references to the company made by my Human Resources professor at my alma mater. He taught several other employees here at Melton who have been very successful and held long careers with the company. My old professor uses Melton as an example of how companies make appropriate choices for their employees, and he recommended I look into interning here.
I learned an incredible amount during my internship—more than any other job. To name a few, I learned how to honestly promote a company in a manner that targets those who are interested, how to support others in my team and anticipate needs of my coworkers and managers, how to navigate through a large company to get a variety of issues attended to quickly, and how to brainstorm both as an individual and in a group to capture innovative ideas and processes. "I heard about Melton through the HireOSUgrads website. After doing some research on the company, I knew I needed to stop by their booth at the career fair. When I met the Melton recruiter, Shayla, I instantly felt Melton was an awesome company to work for.
I was hired as the Marketing and HR intern. This was a great opportunity for me, as I was pursuing a marketing and human resources degree and I wasn’t sure which path I wanted to take.
